I had some free time this afternoon and had the most fun scanning photos of Jul when she was a kid. I scanned them from youngest to kindergarten. Here they are for your enjoyment.

A blog to share about the life of Julie Truckenmiller I was going through some of Julie's pictures and other things and thought I would start a blog about memories, interesting and funny things we remember about her. I will start with posts and then invite others to add comments and feedback. We can share these together and hopefully keep her in our hearts. I will start scanning photos soon and adding them to the site! Look forward to hearing from you!

I only met Julie once, in Vicky's kitchen, as we made tamales. The humor and fun shared that day was why the kitchen is known as the heart of the home. Thank you for allowing me to share in your family time. Pam
Thanks Pam, glad you were there! Vicky
Vick, I found this link on the e-mail that I received from your mom a couple of days ago. What an awesome way to honor Julie's life.
I extend my most sincerest hugs to you. It is extremely sad and difficult to lose a sibling...especially your only sibling, who is also your friend. Actually I still have times that I cry and miss Terry and it's been 32 years!!!! But I too cling to the memories of Terry and I growing up.
But I do have a memory, a funny memory, I want to share about Julie...
I remember when I first was in the family and Julie dropped in at the shop after school. Anyway, I had the radio playing and Julie said (as innocent as can be),"I didn't know old people (meaning me!) liked that kind of music!!!!!" (I was only 23 or 24 years old) What a hoot! lol
I'm thinking she was only about 12 - 13. From the mouths of babes, right?!
Will share more another time.
God bless you Vicki and may He surround you with strength and comfort.
Thanks for the nice comment, I wonder how "old" we are now? :) This blog has been a lot of fun and I have a big box of photos I want to get scanned, so will be adding stuff as I go along. Glad you enjoyed it!
Vicky
